Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Notchland macOS application and website. Purchasing or using Notchland means you agree to them. If consumer law in your country grants rights that cannot be waived, those rights prevail.

License

A paid license grants one person a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to activate and use Notchland on one personally controlled Mac at a time. Before moving to another Mac, you must deactivate the old Mac and then activate the new one with the same key. A business must purchase a license for each user unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.

You may not resell, share, publish, or distribute the app or license key; bypass activation; or reverse engineer the app except where applicable law expressly permits it.

Trial and updates

The trial provides full app access for two days on a Mac. Attempts to reset or bypass the trial are not permitted. A purchase includes Notchland 1.x updates. Future major versions may be offered separately.

System access and compatibility

Some features require macOS permissions or rely on operating-system integrations that Apple may change. Notchland is distributed directly as signed and notarized software and is not a Mac App Store app. Compatibility information on the purchase page forms part of these terms.

Purchases, taxes, and refunds

Checkout, payment, tax collection, receipts, and license delivery are handled by Lemon Squeezy. Prices are shown before checkout. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy and any mandatory consumer rights.

Acceptable use and termination

Do not use Notchland to violate law, another person's rights, or the security of a system. The license may be terminated for material breach, including fraudulent payment or deliberate license sharing. On termination you must stop using the app.

Warranty and liability

Notchland is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted operation or compatibility with every future macOS release. To the extent permitted by law, total liability arising from Notchland will not exceed the amount you paid for the license, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
